# The USE-GPU Model

See how trading activity, creator fees, mining, treasury growth, and future GPU infrastructure connect into one system.

USE-GPU connects token trading activity to a fee-funded mining system and a treasury intended for future GPU infrastructure.

The model starts with a 0.30% creator fee on trades. That fee flows to the USE-GPU treasury. The treasury distributes funds across defined allocations, including the mining pool and GPU treasury.

### System flow

```
TRADING ACTIVITY
        ↓
CREATOR FEE
        ↓
TREASURY
        ↓
Mining rewards | GPU treasury | Holder sharing
Buyback and burn | Operations
        ↓
FUTURE GPU INFRASTRUCTURE
        ↓
FUTURE GPU RENTAL / COMPUTE SERVICES
        ↓
FUTURE INFERENCE API
```

The model contains current components and planned components. They should not be treated as the same stage of operation.

### Current Phase 1

Phase 1 contains the trading, fee, treasury, and mining parts of the system.

* Trading activity generates the creator fee
* The creator fee flows to the treasury
* Users commit tokens and time to participate in mining rewards
* The project has no GPUs in this phase

Mining rewards are funded primarily from the mining pool allocation. Mining is based on token commitment and time, not proof-of-work GPU computation.

### Treasury allocation

The creator fee allocation is defined as follows:

* **35%** to the Mining Pool
* **30%** to the GPU Treasury for hardware and development
* **15%** to the Holder Sharing Pool
* **10%** to Buyback and Burn
* **10%** to Operations

These allocations show how the fee-funded system links current participation with treasury formation.

### Future phases

The GPU Treasury is intended to support the next stages of the model. Phase 2 targets the first GPUs. Phase 3 introduces a model where external operators can contribute GPUs. Phase 4 introduces an inference API.

GPU rental and compute services belong to those later infrastructure phases. They are not current Phase 1 revenue sources.

This system map provides the connection between the protocol, token economics, mining, reward economics, infrastructure, and roadmap sections that follow.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://whitepaper.usegpu.app/introduction/the-use-gpu-model.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
